Best breakfast in Banner Elk.
The Banner Elk Cafe & Lodge is the town hotspot. The food is good (especially breakfast) the service is great, the servers are friendly, and with two kitchens both with there own menu there is something for everyone. The cafe has the best outdoor eating area in town. They just opened the new bar they have been constructing since last fall, and its by far the best bar in the county. I will also say they also have a trained Chef who puts out some great specials. I highly recommend the Muscles they are awesome
Great atmosphere
Great atmosphere, actually 2 Restaurants, you get 2 menus! We split Italian and Burgers, both were huge portions, excellent food, great service, highly recommend!
Great place to eat!
Stopped by for breakfast on our way out of banner elk. A little slow to be seated given that it wasn’t extremely busy…but other than that a great experience. Really good food at reasonable prices with good service. Very clean and well managed.
Great food and Excellent Service on a lovely day
We stopped for lunch after an early visit to the Land of Oz and chose to eat outside.
Brian our server was friendly, attentive, and always was there to support and assist.
We each had something different sandwiches to pizza and we were all happy. Outside atmosphere was cozy and relaxing with no need to rush.
Worth stopping.
Cozy, Comfy, Cushy, Snuggly!
Pretty much the best place in the world after getting off the mountains! It’s a bit confusing as they have 2 menus (American- breakfast/lunch style & Italian- more dinner style and wine) and 2 sides of the restaurant.
The people are super friendly and the food is savory! Plus they have a ton of pastries too!
Best tip about this place: 1 cocoa/mocha is enough for 2 people – it’s HUGE and loaded with marshmallows!!
This restaurant is so yummy, and so consistant.
We go for months between visits (it’s a 3 hour drive for us to get here), & we have never been disappointed in our “favorites” OR our new adventures! NEVER.
We occasionally set out early, drive the 3 hours, eat, eat too much, then eat dessert, then get a to go dessert for the next day….
Then drive 3 hours back home! We never regret it!!
